Why the artwork view is unavailable
For a little over a week, I have received several messages saying that some of the Pokémon artworks shown on this website may have been generated by AI.
These artworks were made by two friends who had offered to help me. When the first messages came in, I answered with what I knew: I had asked them, they told me they had not used AI, and they had sent me layers for some of the drawings.
Looking at the files more closely, I noticed a few details on one artwork that I cannot explain, such as a different number of fingers from one hand to the other. For now, my suspicion concerns only that artwork. That alone proves nothing, but I would rather not leave any doubt.
So I have asked the people concerned for confirmation and proof. While I wait for their answer, I have suspended the artwork view as a precaution: the website now only shows the game's sprites, which I drew myself.
This only concerns the artworks on the website. The game's graphics are not affected: their origin is detailed on the AI transparency page.
Nothing has been decided yet. I will update this page as soon as I hear back from them.
